Joe Treacy

Joe began his career in the inaugural national Primary cohort of the Teach First Leadership Development Programme. Following this experience, he became a founding member of staff at the Chartered College of Teaching, the professional body for teachers. There, he played a key role in leading membership growth, growing the organisation from launch to a remarkable 50,000 members. He also established the esteemed Fellowship program and contributed to the College Council elections, during his tenure, he worked on campaigns to celebrate, support and connect teachers including broadcasting message from Prince Philip, the patron, during COVID. He has worked on the Southwark Council Partnership board and he was also a founding volunteer of Oak National Academy, leading Sector Engagement during Covid which resulted in over 1m lessons being viewed throughout the pandemic.
Currently, Joe works as an Account Director at Salesforce, the world’s leading CRM, AI and Data company. He advises companies in the membership, education, and learning sectors on their digital transformation strategies.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Joe demonstrates a passion for adventure and social impact. Previously a school governor, he has also undertaken a challenging trek across the Arctic Circle in -30°C temperatures, collaboratively raising over £30,000 for Dreams Come True. He is also deeply involved in supporting teachers at St. Martins School in Kenya.
