Diversity – A Collaborative Approach to ITT

“I’m in a Grammar school – not a great deal of diversity here!” 

How an HEI led Employment Based Initial Teacher Training Provider developed a collaborative approach to Teaching for Diversity. 

This talks explores the different contributions made by universities and schools and how these can be linked together to develop Outstanding teacher training. It investigates trainee teachers’ understandings of what diversity is and why it matters as well as how their understanding changed as a result of their training.
