Supporting Students Who Work
18th January 2018
Writing for the higher education news service Wonkhe, Kate Bowen-Viner draws on her experiences as a mature student to argue that employers and universities can do more to support students who work.
Kate is currently working full-time as an Associate at LKMco, whilst also undertaking an MSc in Policy Research at the University of Bristol. Highlighting the support she has had from both her employers and her university, she argues that “with the right help, studying alongside working could be mutually beneficial for more individuals, employers and society as a whole.”
