Join CfEY’s board as a Non-Executive Director

This is an exciting time for the Centre for Education and Youth as we have agreed a three-year strategy that seeks to strengthen our impact on the lives of young people, especially those at the margins, and ensure they receive the support to transition into adulthood.  We have secured social investment, which will enable the organisation to grow, diversify its sources of income, and invest in developing our offer on youth participation.  Our engagement figures speak for themselves: we had over 100,000 website users in 2022-23, up threefold from the year before, and our reports continue to be influential and topical – mostly recently on post-16 English and maths. 

Non-Executive Directors play a pivotal role on the Board of CfEY – a community interest company, limited by share – forming a majority, in accordance with governance good practice, and working alongside three Executive Directors as a single collective Board.  Following a skills audit and in line with our strategy, we are seeking two new NEDs to strengthen our Board and replace NEDs whose term of office is ending.
