CfEY’s Head of Policy, Baz Ramaiah, was interviewed on three BBC shows regarding new findings that pupil behaviour has gotten worse since the pandemic. Joining Salma El-Wardany on BBC London, Nihal Arthanayake on BBC 5Live and Maryam Moshiri on BBC News, Baz argued that the rise in challenging behaviour is likely linked to rising child food poverty, the greater prevalence of mental health challenges and SEND underfunding since the pandemic.
