Jenny spent nearly 10 years in the classroom, teaching and leading departments in London schools, before joining Teach First. She had responsibility for ensuring programmes were underpinned by the best available research and evidence and has a particular interest in how research and practice intersect in order to tackle educational inequalities.
She writes regularly about evidence-informed practice and wider issues in the education sector, including reports on whole child development and equality and diversity in teaching.
Jenny has a BA (Hons) and MPhil from the University of Cambridge, and an MSc from Birkbeck, University of London. After project management and research roles in both the charitable and private sectors, she undertook her PGCE at the Institute of Education.
