Sakib Ershad

Sakib Ershad is a Non-executive Director on CfEY’s board. Sakib has worked in central government since 2015 and is currently the Head of Ministerial Business Engagement at the Department for Business and Trade. Sakib’s previous roles in central government have included working as Private Secretary to the Minister of State for Skills and as Head of EU Exit Data Negotiations.

Sakib is co-Chair of the Social Mobility Network in the Department for Business Trade and also Vice Chair of Governors in the Epping Forest Schools Partnership Trust. Sakib graduated in Economics and History from the School of Oriental and African Studies.
