Theo has eight years of experience in the non-profit and education sectors. He spent the last two at In2research, a UCL programme that widens access to postgraduate careers and opportunities. Prior to this, he was responsible for digital projects at an arts/education charity, including full website and mobile app builds.
During the pandemic, Theo returned to his home area (Brixton/Camberwell) to work in a secondary school, and spent two years supporting students in SEND, SEMH and/or at risk of exclusion. Theo credits this experience with strengthening his understanding of education and the education system, as well as his desire to support strategic change.
Theo graduated from the University of Cambridge in Social and Political Science (SPS), and specialised in the Sociology of Education. Alongside social research methods, he developed specialisms in educational disadvantage and differential attainment, race and ethnicity, and social mobility.
In his free time, Theo enjoys reading history, travel on two wheels, nature excursions and chasing gastronomy.
