Culture and Ethos in Challenging Schools – Party Conference Fringe

Events were well attended. Guests included Baroness Shirley Williams, former Education Secretary, Lord Nat Wei, Advisor to Nick Hurd MP on the ‘Big Society’, the General Secretaries of ATL, ASCL and NAHT, the President of NASUWT, the Mayor of London’s Advisor on Health and Youth and several members of the Education Select Committee all in attendance.
Other speakers included Professor Dylan Wiliam (IoE), Vernon Coaker MP, former Shadow Schools Minister, Duncan Hames MP, PPS to Sarah Teather MP, Lord Hill, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the DfE, and of course- the editor of the report, Daisy Christodolou.
