The Role of the Form Tutor

The aim of this INSET is to help 6th Form Tutors understand the importance of their role, to help them to contribute to pupil development and to provide them with the tools to raise attainment.

Part 1 (1.5 hours) – The Pastoral Role of Tutors:
- What are form tutors for? (this presentation)
- Introduction to school policies and outline of the year ahead
- Discussion of scenarios that could arise
