Health Literacy

LKMco recently worked with the Royal Society for Public Health to set up a seminar investigating how primary schools can take pupils on a “Health Literacy Journey”.
This report by Loic Menzies draws together the findings in an attempt to define health literacy and to show how primary schools can guide pupils along the journey. It concludes that most participants were in favour of a broad definition of Health Literacy but that more research evidence is needed in order to understand the distribution and impact of different approaches.
