CfEY at The Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Conference 2023

On the 26 April, CfEY’s Head of Research, Bart Crisp, presented an online session at the Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Conference 2023, as hosted by Government Events.
On the theme of Working in Partnership to Develop Educational Excellence for All Students, Bart described the principles of effective SEND partnership working between schools and charities, along with examples of places to look to identify further information in this area.
The session also laid out some examples of systems and support which exists to help colleagues working in SEND to improve their access to professional learning. Bart also gave examples of powerful practices which classroom practitioners and school leaders can focus on to support improving attainment for these pupils.
