Eleanor Bernardes

Eleanor is excited to return to CfEY as a catalyst having originally joined the team in the early days of the organisation, and played a key role in its early growth. Her work draws together a broad range of expertise across educational leadership, research and strategy, and business development. Current roles include being the Strategic Lead for the APSEND MAT CEO network and working on and leading a variety of research projects, with recent topics including education leadership recruitment and retention, and inclusive practice in mainstream schools. Eleanor is currently undertaking a PhD on Executive Founder Succession in Multi Academy Trusts and is interested in all things MATs and MAT CEOs.
